Realtime Encryption or Decryption

Enabling the realtime encryption

  • to enable the encryption during recording, invoke SetEncryptionKey and pass an encryption key (that MUST be 16 or 32 characters long), then start the recording as usual

  • to enable the decryption of an encrypted video during playback, invoke SetDecryptionKey and pass the key that has been used for the encryption, then open the clip for playback as usual

Note: the ASF recording does not support encryption yet.
