IsVideoDeviceUSB
Delphi
function IsVideoDeviceUSB (DeviceIndex: LongInt): Boolean;
C#
public bool IsVideoDeviceUSB(int DeviceIndex);
VB.NET
Public Function IsVideoDeviceUSB(DeviceIndex As Integer) As Boolean
C++/Qt
BOOL IsVideoDeviceUSB (int DeviceIndex);
Returns true if the video capture device specified by its index (in the VideoDevices list) is a USB device (webcam, UVC camera, USB capture device).
Returns false for the other video capture devices (PCI / PCIe capture cards, virtual cameras, cameras exposed by a software source filter such as the GenICam Vision Source, even for a USB3 Vision camera), and if DeviceIndex is out of range.
An unplugged USB device remains a USB device: to know whether it is currently plugged in, use IsVideoDeviceConnected.
E.g. to let the user choose only among the USB video capture devices, loop from 0 to VideoDevicesCount - 1 and keep the devices for which IsVideoDeviceUSB returns true.
See the Video capture devices chapter for more information.
