C#

Text overlay size proportional to the video height

Remarks

When enabled, the font size, the Left, Top and Right positions and the scrolling speed of the specified text overlay are given for a video of 1080 lines, and scaled to the height of the video the text is drawn on (or to the height of the display, for a text overlay drawn on the display): multiplied by 2 for a 4K (2160 lines) video, by 4 for an 8K (4320 lines) video, by 2/3 for a 720-line video. The text keeps the same size relative to the picture whatever the video resolution.

Disabled by default (compatibility): the font size is used as is and the positions are in pixels of the video, so the text becomes very small on 4K / 8K videos.

Note: a Right position below 1 (default: -1) still means the right edge of the video. A text overlay drawn on several displays of different heights is scaled again for each one (slower).
