The Datastead Multipurpose Encoder does not accept video samples coming from the preview pin of the Smart Tee.

To build a graph that render through the Smart Tee, proceed as follows:

• connect the Infinite Tee to the output pin of the video capture device
  (if a video de-compressor is required, insert it between the video capture device and the Infinite tee)
• connect the Smart Tee to an output of the Infinite Tee
• render the preview pin of the Smart Tee
• connect the Multipurpose Encoder to another output of the Infinite Tee
