Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit, subscribe to the newsletter or download files from www.datastead.com (the “Site”, “us” or “we”). Please read this statement carefully before using or proceeding to access Site. Your use of Site indicates that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and indicates your unconditional agreement to abide by the Terms of Use in effect and to be subject to this policy.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. How do we use your personal information?

We use Google AdWords remarketing services to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our website. AdWords remarketing may appear in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network, or display relevant ads tailored to your interests based on what parts of the Site you have viewed or by placing a cookie on your machine. THIS COOKIE DOES NOT IN ANYWAY IDENTIFY YOU OR GIVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. Any data collected will be used in accordance with our privacy policy.
How to Opt Out of Remarketing and Advertising: If you do not wish to participate in our Google AdWords Remarketing, you can opt out by visiting Google’s Ads Preferences Manager.

Sharing your personal information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Your rights

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Data retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Client Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
