RTSP/RTMP/HTTP/ONVIF Source 9.4.2.4 is available.
- Added: NTP time computed from the RTP timestamps (RFC 3550): RTSP_VideoStream_NTP_time_From_RTP_Timestamp_bool, URL parameter “>ntpfromrtp=1”. The NTP time of each frame is computed from its RTP timestamp and the RTCP sender reports of the camera: network latency and arrival jitter no longer included. Default: reception time
- Added: Datastead renderers: frame on the screen reported at the pause: exact paused frame of TVideoGrabber 17.1.2.0 or above (PlayerFramePosition, GetLastFrameAs… / CaptureFrameTo, FrameInfo)
- Improved: faster ONVIF connections
- Changed: FFmpeg 9.0.2: FFmpeg libraries updated, single set of DLLs shared with the Multipurpose DirectShow Encoder (…_dtstd_ff9_x86.dll / …_dtstd_ff9_x64.dll). Deployment without the installer: copy all the DLLs of the x86 / x64 folder of the package, the previous FFmpeg DLLs are no longer used
- Changed: NTP time of the frames (Frame_NTP_time, NTP timestamp callback): NTP time of the packet of the frame, decoding latency no longer included (earlier than before by the decoder delay, less jitter). Applications compensating a fixed offset must adjust it
- Changed: RTSP_Source_RetryInitialConnect_int (URL parameter “>retryinitialconnect=N”): no more retries when the camera rejects the credentials (HTTP 401)
- Fixed: RTSP_VideoStream_First_Frame_NTP_time_Recorded_100ns_int64 (TVideoGrabber fi_First_NTP_time_Recorded): always 0. Now the NTP time of the first video frame of each recorded file, extrapolated if the recording starts before the first RTCP sender report
- Fixed: local files / HTTP VOD (e.g. HEVC clips played by TVideoGrabber through the filter): no picture when opened paused, seek and frame step while paused without effect (regression since 9.4.1.2)
- Fixed: Datastead Video Renderer / Datastead Real Time Video Renderer: one frame skipped when resuming after a pause; next frame displayed while paused (time scheduling)
- Fixed: ASF / WMV files with WMA audio: crash (0xC0000374 / 0xC0000005) when seeking; memory leak of the audio buffer
- Fixed: playback speed other than 1 with audio (RTSP_Source_Playback_Speed_Ratio_double, TVideoGrabber PlayerSpeedRatio): crash (access violation) at the next stop or reopen; audio time-stretching now applied, speeds below 0.5 included
- Fixed: playback speed changed during playback: video frozen (speed < 1) or frames dropped (speed > 1), audio / video out of sync
- Fixed: video filter failing to initialize (text overlay, FFmpeg video filter): possible crash at the next reopen; the filter is now bypassed
- Fixed: connection error during the RTSP DESCRIBE (connection reset, timeout): reported as “Invalid data found when processing input” instead of the actual cause
