TVideoGrabber SDK 17.1.2.1 is available.
- Added: Player: AV1 / VP9 10-bit (HDR) on the GPU without the Microsoft Store extensions: AV1 Main 10 and VP9 profile 2 decoded by the built-in GPU decoders (GPU with 10-bit decoding required); GPU without 10-bit decoding at this size: other GPU of the computer used
- Improved: Player: MKV / WebM (VP9, AV1), MP4 / MOV (AV1): video format read in the first key frame when the file header does not give it; clips the GPU cannot decode played by the next source instead of stopping at the first frame
- Improved: Player: NVIDIA GPUs: AV1 / VP9 smaller than 128×128 and AV1 super-resolution (decoded wrong by these GPUs): other GPU of the computer, else next source
- Changed: Player: local media files (MP4, MOV, MKV / WebM, AVI, ASF / WMV, MP3…): opened first by the built-in Media Foundation source also when the LAV Filters are installed (GPU decoding with hw_Auto, HDR -> SDR); LAV Filters used for the clips it cannot play; previous order: see PlayerForcedCodec
- Changed: PlayerVideoCodec / PlayerAudioCodec with the LAV Filters installed: codec names of the built-in source, e.g. “H264 (Intel GPU)”, “AAC”
- Fixed: OnNTPTimeStamp: wrong UTCDateTime / LocalDateTime with the Datastead RTSP/RTMP/HTTP/ONVIF Source filter 8.x / 9.x; now consistent with GetFrameInfo (fi_NTPFrameTime)
- Fixed: GetFrameInfo (fi_First_NTP_time_Recorded): value of the previous file returned until the first frame of the new file was written (e.g. right after RecordToNewFileNow); now 0 until available
- Fixed: PlayerForcedCodec = ”: codec name assigned before not cleared
- Fixed: OnDeviceLost: exception raised by the event handler: component stuck after the device loss (StartPreview: “already previewing”, StopPreview without effect); exception now caught and logged
- Recommended: Datastead RTSP/RTMP/HTTP/ONVIF Source filter 9.4.2.4: required for the exact paused frame of 17.1.2.0 with vr_DatasteadVideoRenderer / vr_DatasteadRealtimeRenderer; fi_First_NTP_time_Recorded always 0 with 9.4.2.2; NTP time computed from the RTP timestamps (“>ntpfromrtp=1”); HEVC clips played through the filter: picture when opened paused; see its changelog
