September 3, 2026: RTSP/RTMP/HTTP/ONVIF Source v9.4.1.9 released

RTSP/RTMP/HTTP/ONVIF DirectShow Source Filter 9.4.1.9 is available.

  • Fixed (TVideoGrabber usage): SetFFmpegFilter() crash (access violation) when the video size in use differs from the size delivered by the device (e.g. after UseNearestVideoSize or PreferredVideoWidth/Height with StretchPreferredVideoSize); the video was not displayed and frame-buffering filters like yadif could corrupt memory. Same fixes applied to the v360 processing.
  • 9.4.1.8: audio backchannel, new mode_record=auto|0|1 URL parameter controlling the ;mode=record token of the SETUP Transport header; auto retries without it if the camera rejects the SETUP (Axis / GStreamer-based firmwares), Hikvision expects it.
  • 9.4.1.8: DirectShow apps, new EC_RTSP_PARAM1_RECORDTONEWFILE_FAILED notification.
