FrameRate

property

Delphi
property FrameRate: Double read GetFrameRate write SetFrameRate;
C++Builder
__property double FrameRate = {read=GetFrameRate, write=SetFrameRate};
C#
public double FrameRate { get; set; }
VB.NET
Public Property FrameRate As Double
C++/Qt
double GetFrameRate ();
void SetFrameRate (double Value);

Desired frame rate, expressed in frames per second.

Remarks

Used to set or retrieve the desired frame rate, expressed in frames per second.

If FrameRate = 0, the default frame rate of the video capture device is used.

Screen recording (VideoSource = vs_ScreenRecording) with FrameRate = 0: 30 fps, or 10 fps for an ASF recording or ASF network streaming at the default video bit rate (ASFVideoBitRate not set, no ASFProfileFromCustomFile) and for a captured screen area of 4K or more (3840x2160 pixels or more, before ScreenRecordingSizePercent / UseNearestVideoSize); a message (OnLog) reports the 10 fps cases. Set FrameRate to another value to use that frame rate in every case.

This property does not apply to DV (see the Frame rate chapter).

The effective frame rate (for analog as well as DV devices) can be retrieved by using the CurrentFrameRate property.
