PlayerTrackBar

property

Delphi
property PlayerTrackBar: TTrackBar read GetPlayerTrackBar write SetPlayerTrackBar;
C++Builder
__property Vcl::Comctrls::TTrackBar* PlayerTrackBar = {read=GetPlayerTrackBar, write=SetPlayerTrackBar};

Associates a trackbar with the player (Delphi and C++Builder versions only).

Remarks

Used to associate a trackbar with the player (Delphi and C++Builder versions only).

To use it:

  • put a trackbar component on the form,

  • select the TVideoGrabber component with the object inspector,

  • browse the PlayerTrackBar property and select the trackbar placed on the form.

At runtime, when opening a video clip, the trackbar frequency is set to the number of frames of the video clip (1).

During playback, the trackbar cursor moves automatically, according to the current position of the video clip played.

At the end of the clip (normal playback), the trackbar cursor stays on the last frame (StopPlayer sets it back to the beginning).

When the clip is paused, it is possible to set a new position simply by moving the trackbar cursor.

(1) note: the frequency of the trackbar is limited to 32768, see PlayerTrackBarScale for more information.
